Jean Delpech
About
Jean Delpech (1916-1988) a French artist, was born in Hanoï (Vietnam) where he lived until age Nineteen.
Passionate observer, he was a precise draftsman, both as a witness of his time and as an imaginative artist who sought his inspiration in Mythology and fantastic worlds.
Apart from etching, engraving and painting, he explored freely a variety of mediums (glass, mixed media, collages, repoussé, etc.).
Singular, unique and unclassifiable, his rich and abundant life’s work is ready to be rediscovered.
